Ashley is American and spent three years living in Europe to find herself in Rome for a year where she discovered her love for everything Italian. Afterwards she worked for Vogue Italia magazine in New York for three years where she met Frances while on a trip in Milan. It was in New York that she immersed herself into art-house cinema, specifically the Italian genre.
